Beauty does not have age limits, it just changes with the gained experience as we meander through life's interesting path. A young carefree girl grows into a sensual mature woman. Lots of young women are conscious of their 'imperfect' body (perfection doesn't exist, it's created in photoshop!!), however being young slightly compensates it. After photographing quite a few 50+ ladies, I've noticed that after stepping into the second half of life, those insecurities increase. Women get worried about the deepening lines, age spots, body shape, etc. and start seeing themselves as 'past date'. Although there are also women who embrace their maturity and love themselves as they are and I do admire them. I should admit that I am not in love with my lines either, or the grey hair that seems appearing out of nowhere, however, I don't take it too seriously (we are all ageing after all!) and I still feel like 30 years old. That's what matters! When I photograph these women, I don't see an elderly woman, I see a beautiful, mature, sensual, fabulous woman whose lines on her face are her journey through life, and that she should celebrate.
